Circularity in Africa: Packaging

The African Circular Economy Network  (ACEN) hosted the second session in the five-part workshop series titled Circularity in Africa: Packaging on 25 August 2022. This session, labled a World Circular Economy Forum  (WCEF2022) Official Side Event, was based on the African Circular Economy Alliance’s (ACEAs) five big bets: Fashion and Textiles, Food Systems, Electronics, Packaging and the Built Environment. The workshop provided the opportunity for circular economy experts to have a dialog on subjects including recycling, innovative collection methods, bio-plastic production and research on the transition to circular packaging in Africa.
