Together with our partner WWF South Africa, ACEN developed this report, which outlines the proposed legally binding treaty to end plastic pollution, emphasising global obligations for bans and phase-outs of specific plastics, which would require implementation by UN member countries. It also discusses the potential economic, environmental, and social impacts of these measures, particularly in the South African context.
